Real Estate Blog Benefits

Remember Monday when I wrote about getting motivated to blog after the holidays or for the new year? I made a comment about getting more mileage out of a post and how to do that. Today I am going to show you an example of what I meant in my Real Estate Blog Benefits.

Monday's Blog was called: Real Estate Blog Post Motivation and was written to remind you that it's not always easy to stay motivated when it comes to your real estate blog.

Stretch one blog post into several. Real Estate Blog Experts shows you how to do it and the real estate blog benefits! One of the tips I had was to stretch out the post into more than one post. That's what I am going to do here today. The posts are TOTALLY related. However, I am just going to add a little more meat to the meal and fill you up a bit.

Motivation is the one factor that drives most successful people to reach their goals. Take advantage of the real estate blog benefits and reach your goals.Motivation is a strange creature. It's funny how one day you are so motivated to get your blog written and then comes the next day and you have absolutely no motivation to even look at it. Monday I gave you a few winter topics to keep your mind moving. Bbut here today, let's look at WHY we want that mind moving and what you have to gain from it!

  1. Referrals. This may depend on your original blog goal. Are you blogging for referrals? Here is a great way to get your name out there. Say something smart. Let other Agents on ActiveRain know what you do and how you do it. Let them know that they can come to you when they have clients who are relocating and that you have their back. The second part of referrals is more personal and will be reviewed below.
  2. Creative Outlet. For me blogging is also about having a creative outlet. It's like writing my 100 Real Estate Haikus. They give me the chance to share more about myself and how I manage my business and how that may transfer to yours should you decide you need help! (Remember our Motto: "If it doesn't directly make you money, you should be delegating it.") So I hope my readers see my creativity and my expressiveness.
  3. Attract Endless New Clients: This is like the biggest "no-brainer" part Real Estate Blog Benefits. Why else would you continue to spend endless time creating new information if you are not attracting clients? Remember the advice I continue to give that having a bad blog may be worse than not having any? Take note!
  4. Build Relationships: Get your name out there. Remember the 3 C's method:
Use the three Cs as a guideline for posting on Social Media. Consistency, Competency and Courtesy.

Be consistent, competent and courteous.

  • Consistent. You must post consistently and at regular intervals. Two or three times a week is a good number to use.
  • Write competently and intellectually. Not over your reader’s head, but don’t belittle them either.
  • Be courteous. Comment and share other bloggers posts and comments.

We will stop for today because Real Estate Blog Benefits go far beyond these 4 payoffs! This is the age of technology. This is the age of the savvy consumer. You need to be part of this and we want to telling you Why! We have an additional FIVE (5) Real Estate Blog Benefits coming tomorrow.

Joan, I wasn't familiar with Kathy Goldman , and this is really good! I happen to love blogging. I would also add that when you are "in the flow", write til you run out and then put it in draft. For those days when you're feeling a bit dry creatively, you can go to your drafts and be re-energized, plus you've already written something part way and it can make it easier to hit that publish button with an added photo, a couple of links and a bit of freshening up!
