Snowzilla 2016: I'm just glad it is over!

Real Estate Agent with Thompson Company, REALTORS® MD594797

Snowzilla 2016 has come and gone ← thank you very much! While I agree that the first snow of the season is always pretty to look at and a winter wonderland on a sunshiny day can be magical, after digging out for 2 days, I am just glad this is over!

Snowzilla 2016 Maryland

"Jonas" left close to 30 inches in my neck of the woods. That's A LOT of snow to shovel. I tried to keep up with it Friday evening but the winds made it unbearable to be outside. I dug out for a couple hours just to see no evidence of it that same evening. So, we had to start all over again today. Fun times!

I am very grateful for my neighbor who came to my rescue when I couldn't open my front door. And my stack of Reese's which provided the fuel for the digging-out marathon. And my winter running clothes which made being outside almost comfortable. And for Advil, too, because my arms and back are on fire!

For all of you who are still in the middle of digging out, good luck! Don't forget to clear the snow around your heat pumps and to locate your vents, especially if you have any natural gas in your house!

Hi Andrea Bedard , 30 inches of snow is a bunch.  It's getting rid of it that makes things difficult.  Be carefull and keep warm.

WOW Andrea, that is a lot of snow, I don't even know what on earth I would do with 30 inches of snow, certainly wouldn't be out shoveling. My body literally can not take the cold, I've been in FL for too long. So glad it's over.

Andrea, good points about moving the snow from outaside vents. I am getting reading to take Zeke out to play and remove some snow off the deck. Hope the advil helped your sore aching muscles.
