Keep Your Ship Sailing in the Right Direction

“Rowing harder doesn’t help if the boat is headed

 in the wrong direction.”

Kenichi Ohmae, Japanese Organizational Theorist,

Management  Consultant, Author

As I see it. . . . . . . .

Keep your ship in the right direction

When your ship gets off course . . . . Your goals become the beckon to get your ship back on course . . . . They will  point you in the right direction . . . . the direction that will keep you moving closer to your goals.

When you’re in turbulent waters . . . . your faith will give you the courage to navigate the turbulence in your life . . . .and to continue your quest to achieve your goals.

It’s not a question on how fast your ship is moving. It’s a question of how to keep your ship sailing in the right direction . . . . in the direction of achieving your goals.

Or, if it's going in circles.  And, so many of us seem to be stuck in a rut doing just that, sailing in circles.

More great food for thought, Lou!  Life does have so many potential distractions and I think this business has the potential for LOADS of them too.  I have reminders at my work station about what I'm doing this all for and what the goal is... helps to keep my rudder in the right direction!  ;)

We can expect rough seas which will try our patience and want to change course. We can also expect calm water that may not fill our sails and cause us not to progress at the speed we would like.

Lou Ludwig Words so true here. We all need to make sure we are headed in the right direction. This reminds me of my younger days when I occasionally played golf with one of my uncles. I could out-drive him off the tee, but was not as accurate. He on the other hand though a shorter drive, was always right on the direction. Consequently, he always bested me in the most frustrating game ever invented by man.
