2015 Update on Amherst Real Estate Market Single Family Homes activity

The Amherst Real Estate Market has spiked in the last year; between January 1 and December 31 of 2015 the Multiple Listing Service shows that 1,174 single family homeswere sold. The average property had 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, 1,970 square feet, a list price in the average of $220,000, a sale to list price ratio of 97.38 percent and an average number of days’ active properties were listed was 43.
These numbers show an increase of sales between 2014 and 2015 of 7.16 percent

2015 Update onAmherst Real Estate Market Condo/Townhouse activity

Between January 1 and December 31 of 2015 in Amherst 300 Townhouse/Condos were sold, in average the properties were 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms with a living space of about 1,263 square feet, and a listing price of $142,000; the average list to sale price ratio was 95,7 percent with approximately 54 days on the market.
The numbers show a decrease of 4.46 percent in sales compared to 2014

2015 Update on Amherst Real Estate Market 2 – 4 Family Residential activity

Not many income properties are available in the Town of Amherst, during January and December of 2015 the MLS – Multiple Listing Services shows that 35 properties were sold, with an average of 2,257 square feet, an average list price of $166,000, the average list to sell price ratio was 98.06 percent and about 32 days on the market.
There was a decrease of 14.3 percent in sales of income properties in Amherst during 2015 compared with 2014
