Warm Ruben Spread Recipe

 

4 oz. Philadelphia cream cheese, softened

1/2 cup Kraft Thousand Island Dressing

1/4 lb. sliced deli corned beef, chopped (about 1 cup)

3/4 cup well drained Claussen Sauerkraut

1 pkg (8 oz.) sliced Swiss cheese (chopped)

Triscuit Deli-Style Rye Crackers

Heat oven to 350 degrees.

 

Mix cream cheese and dressing in medium bowl, stir in all remaining ingredients except crackers.

Spread into the bottom of a 9-inch pie plate or shallow dish.

Bake 20 minutes or until heated through.

Serve warm with crackers (also good with small sized party Rye bread)

Enjoy!

 

I asked Chef Dolores to provide this recipe after some careful personal taste testing. The wine selection was Les Portes de Bordeaux 2014 Sauvignon Blanc from France.

I was just sitting here thinking, it's been a long while since I've had a Ruben sandwich.  I need to fix that.  The only Reuben in my house is my cat.  But, he spells his name differently!
