Dog Parks in Delray Beach FL
Thinking of buying a pet-friendly home in Delray Beach FL but wondering where to take Max or Coco to run off some of that energy and get some exercise? To Delray Beach's very own Lake Ida Dog Park. Located just east of 95, the Lake Ida Dog Park is a place for our four-legged friends to have some fun.
The dog park is part of beautiful Lake Ida Park set on 189 acres. In addition to its dog park, the park offers 2 miles of bicycle path, 2 miles of walking path, freshwater fishing, pier, pavilions and picnic areas with grills, 2 boat launching ramps, canoeing/kayaking access, 9600' lake frontage, lake observation platform, volleyball, water skiing and a children's play area. There is regular parking and boat and trailer parking as well.
The Lake Ida Dog Park features 2 large dog sections (one open at a time on rotation basis for rest and maintenance), 1 small dog section, double gated entry, paved dog wash station, Fido fountain, dog bag dispensers, covered trash cans and restrooms.
You can read the Dog Park Rules here. Hours are from Sunrise to Sunset. Closed on Thursdays from 12:00 Noon to 3:00 pm for Maintenance.
