Austin Platinum Top 50 Roundtable ~Food For Thought with Amber Thomas
Amber Thomas, President of PT50, is on track with her annual Austin Top50 Roundtable kicking off 2016! It was held at the Shoal Crossing event center yesterday on Wednesday January 27, 2016 (thank you Amber, good location to navigate in the morning). We received 2 surveys before the event and answered some thought provoking questions. The answers were tabulated and compared to the National Statistics thus proving once again real estate is local.
Fostering relationships through creative Mind - Sharing was the goal of this event. Once again Amber got us thinking and collaborating on best real estate practices and what will work in 2016!
Everyone agreed on 5 things of worry in Austin for 2016:
3. Interest rates
We discussed BPP (Broker Public Record) NAR's answer to a national public MLS and Livestream, private data base collection.
Everyone is looking to be on the cutting edge...developing a break through to change the game. That’s what innovators do! Every industry is trying to be a game changer but statistics show Retention of clients in real estate nets you 5 times the business as following up with on-line paid leads.
In 2016 it will be a game changer if you look back on what worked in past generations. After all, designers of clothes, furniture styles, and hair styles look back to previous generations for inspiration.
Consumers are looking for a connection to someone who has their best interests at heart. Those willing to take the time to create “an experience” for a client are most likely the agent consumers will use and recommend to their friends, family and co-workers. Other agents will want to show your listings and work with you! It's wonderful how that all comes full circle to you. It all starts with an honest “Thank You” and letting clients and customers know you care.
