Ringing and Singing in the Rain with Kristian Schonberg
Today I had a great conversation with Kristian Schonberg of Windermere 
Peninsula Properties in Allyn, Washington. I found Kristian listed as joining Dec. 18, 2015 which makes him a Newbie to ActiveRain but when it comes to his neighborhood he has years of experience.
Kristian specializes in properties in an area he describes as rural "with lots of open space and not many homes". This is basically the Peninsula covering Kitsap, Mason and part of Pierce Counties. He knows the ins and outs of waterfront properties and vacant land in the Hood Canal and Case inlet areas. Homes average about $150,000.
The market has been slower because of the limited inventory but Kristian believes it is picking up and will be even better in 2016. His goal is to have more business and also to do more in ActiveRain. He has purchased several sources of online leads and they are developing a lot of prospects and he will be monitoring them to see how they work for him.
Kristian works full time when he is home but he also works as a commercial fisherman mostly in the Alaskan waters. At one time he was interviewed by the NY Times. His goal is to retire from the fishing completely and only do real estate. At this time, he has an excellent partner to handle anything if he is away.
A few more fun facts about him; He has two degrees from the University of Washington (Biological Oceanography and German); He was on the varsity rowing team and won national championships; he is a deacon in his community church and sings in the choir; and 2 of his 3 boys have gone to the Naval Academy.
