Japan's Interest Rates Go Negative and Stocks Rally!

By
Mortgage and Lending with The Federal Savings Bank/Lending in 50 states NMLS # 109616

The trading day began with the new that the Bank of Japan actually lowered its interest rate into a negative level.  This means that banks would actually have to pay the bank of Japan to have funds on deposit.  This had a positive effect on equity markets across the globe and made for happy investors here today.  In a broadly higher market, the Dow closed up 396 points today.
