Delray Beach- Cloudy with a Twist(er)
It’s been a fun and busy week. Eileen Burns hosted a MeetUp for Broward County on Tuesday at Caluz. We had 4 in attendance and absolutely gorgeous weather.
Then on Wednesday, rain and a tornado down in Broward County.
On Thursday, while we were working out in the gym I heard the sirens go off. No one paid any attention but a few minutes later, we saw that a tornado had touched down just 2 miles away.
Word to the wise… pay attention when the sirens go off!
Kindness and politeness are not overrated at all. They're underused.
One word (Polite) kept popping into my head while out shopping this week. To set the stage, a very well-known local fresh produce store seems to have a negative effect on many of its patrons. They enter the parking lot and lose all sense of what you and I have been taught since day one- the Golden Rule.
The produce is the best and the prices are even better. You just have to be able to put up with some of the patrons.
One of the greatest victories you can gain over someone is to beat him at politeness.
The only true source of politeness is consideration.
Have a Kind and Gentle Weekend.
