Ross Perot For President 2016

I remember my grandmother telling me she voted for Perot because she was mad at Pres. Bush (41). I asked her if she wanted Clinton to win....of course not, but she wanted to send a message.

I am hearing this a lot this election cycle too...on both sides.

On the Republican side, Trump supporters most often say they are tired of the political correctness in what we say. They love that he speaks his mind and doesn't worry about how it sounds.

On the Democratic side, Sanders supporters often tell me they like that he is calling out Wall Street and the Bankers in favor of the little people. He understands the financial needs of average people.

Ok...lots of messages here.

But is a vote a message? Maybe so! Certainly you can't sit out an election and expect to have any kind of impact...well, maybe that's not true either.

Interestingly, both sides claim that they are concerned their "guy" can win and they would never want the other side to win the Presidency. Ok...so then shouldn't you consider that in the primary?

If you're sending a message....chances are the other party is going to win. Think about it.

Good afternoon Karen,

Tuesday will be an interesting day for a lot of candidates.

If one wants change they better exercises the right to vote.

Make yourself an astonishing day.

The new apathy as I see it is sending the message like you referneced. Frankly the majority of the people don't like any of the choices wholeheartedly therefore they think they will just create waves and see what happens.

I reminds me of the American Idol show several years ago. Sanjiya did not have that good a voice or presence and the masses kept voted him through. He rose all the way to the 6th place and the producers ceased to think it was funny any longer. They began to think what would happen if he WON. It could have happened and made a mockery of their show. I don't know if the natural course of things took care of it or they manipulated votes but he didn't make it any further. I watch both political parties now and see similarities.

Yes, what happened with Perot was a disaster, but I'm not so sure that's what will happen this time around. Most of the working people in the country are fed up with "business as usual" (or corruption as usual) in Washington.

I think there is a difference. Your seems like it was not original content? And I am make an observations, not pushing a political candidate or side? That said...maybe they will pull points, doesn't really matter to be honest. Have a good evening.

Good morning Karen Fiddler, Broker/Owner . I see the trunk lost in the Iowa caucus. He's not a quitter and I know that he will press on. I think a lot of folks are tired of political correctness.

All I mostly remember about Ross Perot is Dana Carvey's impersonation of him on Saturday Night Live. "Can I finish, Can I finish, Can I finish"....
