Home Sales increase by 10% in Florida

By
Real Estate Agent with RE/MAX South Shore Realty
Great News! Florida experienced a 10% increase in home sales in March over February 2008. Home sales in Hillsborough County (Tampa area) Florida experienced a 27% increase for the same period. Looks like there might be light at the end of the tunnel. If this trend continues summer home sales should be Great! Combine low mortgage rates with increased home sales and you have the beginning of a come back real estate market.

Awesome news. We have definitely seen an increase in business, traffic, and closings this past month here in SW Florida. We're coming back!

Yes there has been an increase in sales, but I would like to know if you know how many of the sales were distress sales... I guess at the end of the day, as long as QUALIFIED people buy the houses and pay off the lending institutions, it will get the market out of hot water, and hopefully calm the secondary market down so we can go back to business as usual.

That is great news!  We recently have a home under contract in Atlanta from a Florida seller that has already closed on their home in Florida!  That is great news!

Why don't you pay our government your taxes?   why should someone use you as a realtor if you don't pay the IRS, I see a 53,000 irs tax lien on you, filed last month.  Not a very good example of good business
