Best time to get your home sold fast?

Winter!!  Yes, Winter!   When spring comes around practically everyone is putting their home on the market as this is the percieved best time.  And fair enough, the most homes go on the market in spring and sellin in summer.   That said, for a variety of reasons, homes that list in winter sell faster on average - basically is a supply and demand game!  According to RedFin and Angies List, a higher percentage of homes sell in less than 6 months, when compared to springtime homesales.  Video & Read more here and here

Hey Mark!  If you search for this kind of thing there are TONS of stats on it.  Particularly from RedFin and Money.

Interesting.  It's not true in my local market, but then I sell vacation/second homes.

Perhaps the lack of a truly heinous winter. ;)  When it gets cold here, we definitely have less on the market for a few months.  maybe December to March/April.
