4th Annual 5K Paw Walk in the San Diego Botanic Garden in Encinitas 2016
The San Diego Botanic Garden, along with the Rancho Coastal Human Society, is hosting their 4th Annual 5K Paw Walk in Encinitas.
This fun, and non-competitive, event will be at the Gardens on Saturday February 20, 2016 from 9 until 1 pm, rain or shine. The Walk officially starts at 9:00 am.
Dogs and humans alike love the Paw Walk at the San Diego Botanic Garden, whose mission is to introduce, or re-introduce, area residents to the beauty and the wonderful resource at the San Diego Botanic Garden in Encinitas.
At the 5K Paw Walk you’ll find plenty of products for you pooch, and food for you, dog treats, lots of information and displaysfor canine lovers, and of course plenty of dogs and their owners and friends enjoying a beautiful day in the gardens in Encinitas. We have good friends that go every year and love it!
The San Diego Botanic Garden offers 4 miles of beautiful trails, lots of palms and flowering trees and plants, and the largest collection of bamboo in the country in their 37 acre facility with micro-climates ranging from rainforest to desert.
Rancho Coastal Human Society was founded in 1960 and provides a wide range of humane services that include shelter care, adoption services, education, plus an animal safe-house program

Check in and registration opens at 9 am and the 5k/3.1 mile walk will start at 9:30 at 300 Quail Gardens Drive (the Hamilton Children’s Garden)
