I got a call yesterday from prequalified , first - time buyers. They are newly married and have been saving to put down a down payment. They have done their research.. online.

I asked , "whom may I thank for giving you my number" ?

She said, "Zillow reviews ".

Wonderful.

I find it helpful when considering where to spend or not spend my budget for advertising etc. to know where my business is coming from. As much as I want my SEO to rank high, I do realize alot of my business comes from word of mouth from past clients and for this situation, reviews from clients.

She told me she liked my reviews and felt we would work well together.

From past clients and friends/ family... I appreciate your support/ reviews.

For future clients, I appreciate the opportunity to help you buy or sell !

Michele Connors - well, one thing Zillow has done is....quality control over reviews and testimonials to make it credible to general population.

Many real estate professionals may not like Zillow, however, this is one good thing about Zillow.

They are educated in the sense they did their research online, yes I will have to explain the NC process to them today and share comps on the homes they want to see... but so far the conversation tells me they 1. have a loan in place and 2. have set their search terms to be realistic. I will report back on how their house tours go today.

I, too, receive clients from Z reviews because those reviews seem to carry more credibility when they come from a third-party vendor. Every so often a person will ask why I'm not on Yelp but we can't be everywhere and people check both sites, so I just chose the more credible (for sellers). TIP: If you enter your Z phone number into your cellphone and label it, you'll always be able to tell the callers from Z (because most do not call your number).

These buyers by the way are pending after 10 days and they are thrilled !!!

I have had a wonderful time with them, they impressed me with doing their home work and really making sure they didnt over buy and stayed on a budget.
