Charlotte Versus Denver ~ It's Not Just The Super Bowl!
Looking for interesting Super Bowl posts this morning. Last year Arizona hosted the Super Bowl in Glendale Arizona and our state flourished. Also this year our Arizona Cardinals were so close to being in the 2016 Super Bowl up to the final. Love our football. We are Chicagioans and of course our favorite Super Bowl is DA Bears win. We remember it like it was yesterday.
Enjoy your Super Bowl Sunday, we will have snacks and the bettting boards. Looking forward to a fun time. Hope you enjoy and see below the post from....
By now most everyone knows that the Carolina Panthers will be playing the Denver Broncos in the Super Bowl on February 7th. But it's not just the about the Super Bowl when we compare the Queen City to the Mile High City. Both Charlotte and Denver are fast growing cities with solid economies and an excellent housing market. Both are regional "power houses" in their own rights and enjoying an influx of new residents.
How do Charlotte and Denver compare? See the infographic below provided by the Charlotte Chamber of Commerce.
What's not on this infographic is the cost of living comparison between Charlotte and Denver. In this regard, Charlotte does beat out Denver (much as we are hoping to beat them in the Super Bowl). The most recently released 2015 Annual Cost of Living Index, from the Council for Community and Economic Research, comparing the affordability of living in the nation’s largest metro areas, scored Charlotte at 96.4 %. Charlotte's lower cost of living is due in part to the metro area’s low housing and transportation costs, both below the national average. The Denver area's 109.6% of the national average is due in part by housing costs at 130.2% of the national average.
