I often read many posts from other real estate agents and they so expressively tell about their day to day occurrences with their clients. My normal reaction, this is not me. But in an effort to let my readers know a little more about me, I am going to make an effort to try to do so hopefully about once a week. Here is my first attempt.
I have been selling real estate full time here in the Napa Valley for the last 30 years. I have done over 300 transactions including residential, land, investment and commercial. I have been fortunate to have done a great deal of business and am now working with referrals and past clients but still look forward to working with a new soul.
What I am looking forward to is helping other elderly people with their problems by volunteering to either be an Ombudsman, or elderly consultant. Heck, I am 69 and will be 70 on September 1st. I guess a little of the blind helping the blind to be a bit cynical.
So as a first effort, if you know someone elderly, or anyone, who may need some help here in the Napa Valley, please feel free to forward them my contact info. I have a surgery scheduled for March 11th so will be looking to take this on about the 1st of April. The reason for doing this, my mom passed away in a nursing home about 5 years ago. During the 3 months I took care of her, I cannot tell you how badly some of their kids treated their parents who were in this wing of the home. Maybe 15 in total and during my stay, I truly saw things I couldn't believe should have happened. Now if I can help, never again on my watch. cheers cvc
