Yes, Super Bowl 50 was a big event in the U.S.Virgin Islands just like everywhere else in the United States and Super Bowl 50 was no exception. We gathered in sports bars and homes throughout the territory with friends to watch and cheer for our favorite team. We may also have a high interest in cricket and soccer, but don't hold that against us.
Although I am not a huge football fan, I do love to watch the Super Bowl. Super Bowl 50 was a hard fought game. Despite Cam Newton and the Carolina Panther's efforts, Cam just never seemed to hit his stride. Either it seemed he was not given the protection he needed to effectively pass the ball or his receivers had trouble hanging on to the passes. Payton Manning and the Denver Bronco's experience in high pressure game paid off with a victory at 24 to 10. Some thirteen years Cam's elder, the question is will Payton Manning retire? Super Bowl 50 certainly would be a classy way to end a spectacular career.
I love the commercials and my favorite was "Super Bowl Babies" although the concept is a little weird. The socially concious ads, like Colgate's were great. "T Mobil Droped the Ball", what can I say, Go Steve Harvey, the only place you can make a huge mistake on international TV and it will propel you to one of the most expensive advertising spots ever. What was your favorite?
And then there was the half time show at Super Bowl 50. Spectacular as always featuring Coldplay, Beyonce and Bruno Mars. Even if you hated football , this show made you wish you were there.
So you may be thinking, what does this have to do with real estate?
I guess I wanted to point out the obvious, you can enjoy football in the U,S.Virgin islands as well as anywhere. Or better yet, you can add football to sandy beaches, blue water and a laid back lifestyle.
Why not make the U.S. Virgin Islands your home?
