Eighty Seven Park hasn’t even opened for sale yet, but some big names in real estate are already chomping at the bit to invest. The Real Deal has reported that New York City broker Fredrik Eklund, the star of “Million Dollar Listing New York,” has reserved one of the units at Eighty Seven Park, two whole years before the Miami Beach condominium is due for construction.
Buying pre-construction early is a great way to prove the value of the property and get the most out of your investment. As demand increases for a particular building, neighborhood or market, the value of the properties increases. Luxury Miami real estate has been on an upward climb for years now and isn’t showing any sign of stopping.
To me, Eighty Seven Park is one of the most exciting new pre-construction offerings because of its unique architecture — designed by Renzo Piano — and because it exudes comfort and style. The largest unit is 4,140 square feet, with five bedrooms, and every condo has private elevator access. The terraces are especially brilliant. The developers boast that each terrace is about 60-90 percent the size of the interior space. In other words, you can live as much in the sea breeze as indoors. And besides, the telescopic glass walls blur the difference between the two.
This is a once-in-a-lifetime condominium. But don’t take my word for it. “No, we are not moving to Miami,” Eklund wrote on his Facebook page, according to The Real Deal. “This will be a vacation home for the family, plus it’s the first and only project in Florida I feel I CANNOT miss as an investment.”
