We are living in digital world. Meetings are scheduled on our calendars that are accessible on our phones, computers, tablets and watches. We get notifications of when to leave for meetings, when our meeting are about to start and when we are late for meetings. What other ways are successful people using their calendars? Many successful, productive people use time blocking on their calendars to stay focused, on task and productive.
Getting started requires a small amount of planning. I suggest taking a few minutes and writing out 3-5 of the most important things that you need to get accomplished and use that to start planning your day/week. As Real Estate Agents we rely on our marketing, networking and referrals to generate our leads. Designating time each day for these activities will help to create consistency in our efforts and help us stay focused on the goals and tasks at hand.

The great thing about time blocking is that it allows you to stay focused on specific activities to help drive your business. You control what you are working on each day and can change the order or the activity based on your daily needs. Allow time at the end of the day to create a task list for the following day. Once you find a flow of your day and consistency in the tasks that need accomplished you can sart timeblocking your entire week.
