Affordable things to do for Valentine’s Day Part 1 of 5
I think many, if not all would agree that one day out of the year is not enough to show or tell someone you care about how much you Love them. Love is an action word and should be displayed consistently throughout the year. Now if you haven’t been showing Love to that special person in your life. This is the day that you can all be made up for and start a New moving forward.
If you’re like most couples who are on a budget and watching your money this year and want to romance your significant other without breaking the bank.
Here is a suggestion for you:
Create an indoor or outdoor picnic with available props. The 99 cents store, Dollar Tree, Big Lots, etc. have lots of inexpensive decorations. Buy a picnic tablecloth & paper goods. Share finger foods and favorite treats along with a glass of wine, apple cider or a drink that you both like... Spice up “dessert.” Enjoy your picnic on the living room floor, bed, park bench, grass, etc. Play card games, board games, or make up your own that benefit the both of you (wink, wink).
Remember, the idea behind Valentine’s Day is making an effort to spend time together with that special someone in your life. Try this idea this Sunday and you will have the recipe for an affordable and memorable Valentine’s Day.
