Offline marketing is a favorite marketing method of mine, and the section of the newspaper that I like most is the Free Real Estate Press Release section. Free is always a breath of fresh air. Although I participate in this monthly local newspaper with a full page ad to display some of our inventory, receiving mileage for the accomplishments of the agents for whom I market is a bonus.
Lorraine Kuney had a fantastic 2015, once again; and The Buliung Todaro Team members are fresh off the blocks with a banner January 2016. I would be remiss in not shouting this out with a large press release in a newspaper that is delivered to every mailbox in seven different towns in our area. That probably amounts to almost 100,000 residential properties plus businesses. It’s FREE, and rarely does anyone take advantage of this method of marketing.
Every newspaper will accept press releases. Contact the representative in one of your popular newspapers, and establish a program committing to providing a Press Release on a consistent basis. I am committing to that for those for whom I market.
This is what I’ve sent to my contact person for the Local Town Pages for the next issue that will land at the end of the month:
