Do Open Houses HAVE to be on Sundays?
Sometimes we do certain things just because the way it's been done for ages!
Wayne and Jean Marie Zuhl has a different take when it comes to open houses!
What do you think?
Should open houses be only on weekends?
It's pretty traditional in our neighborhood - Open Houses are on Sundays from 1:00 to 4:00.
We advertise our Open Houses, put up plenty of signs, have refreshments available - in general, we follow all of the rules. And, for the most part, Open Houses are lightly attended - maybe we'll average 5-10 people over a 4 hour stretch.
But we're considering something new for a house we're listing tomorrow. The house is in a prime commuter location so we're going rogue.
We're holding an Open House midweek from 5pm to 7pm hoping to catch the commuters. If we have cold water bottles and appetizers available, we're hoping to get a great turnout to see our new listing.
Have you ever gone rogue with your open houses? What do you think?
