Snow

Snow. That 4 letter word that either brings delight or dread into adult lives. Just the mention of the word in a forecast will cause bread, milk and eggs to fly off the store shelves quicker than one can say “Jack Robinson”. Moreover, no two flakes are the same, or so I am told. Some folks can drive in it - most can’t. Kids here in TN love it as schools are closed. Parent’s hate it as now they must make arrangements for kiddie care. Yes, it is one of THOSE 4 letter words that we mutter under our breath or shout from the roof-tops.
And that my friends, is my 2¢’s worth for today.

'Snow' is definitely a mixed bag for all.  It amazes me the money spent yearly, in snow country, on the need to remove something that is going to be gone soon anyway.  Sometimes in as little as a day or two.  Mark

Hi Michael.  Snow is an interesting 4 letter word.  We have -15 below wind chill temps coming this weekend.

And Realtors love it here in Florida, Michael, as it makes for the annual snowbird migration.

Good morning Michael.  Please keep all of it up your way.  I can do without it, although the forecast for this weekend  is that we may get a little of the white stuff

I love snow, I think it's beautiful.  What I hate is drivers that act like there is no snow or ice on the roads and fly by me at 70 mph.

When my family owned a trucking utility I dreaded the very mention of that 4 letter word. Now I enjoy the beauty with my grandkids Michael of TeamCHI - Complete Home Inspections, Inc.

We got a lot of snow every year in Michigan where I grew up. I moved away from it when I was 19 and I'd never willingly move to a snowy area again.

Snow has double meaning for me these days. 1. since I've been on crutches for 6 weeks, I'm glad I'm not the only one who has been stuck inside. 2. as pretty as it is, on a sunny day, I DO want to go out, but its too slippery.

I have about a 5 foot pile outside where the snow busters piled the snow from the street the past few months.  Temps are in the 60's but I think that pile will be there until August!

The one thing I do like about the snow, is that when it comes down, I don't go out
