Early Spring Comes to Carlsbad CA
We seem to be having an early spring. Not officially of course, that's not until March 20 (Palm Sunday), and a week after Daylight Savings Time begins.
Since I left town last Friday for business in Orlando, and returned yesterday, many flowering trees have burst into bloom, and the temps have been in the high 70s and low 80s. Yesterday felt like a summer day, and everyone was out in shorts, flip flops, short sleeve shirts and tank tops, and the beach lovers were out in abundance.
No doubt it's a teaser, which happens here in the winter sometimes. But summerlike days in February are very much appreciated. No wonder we call this living in paradise, even when it isn't always wonderful.
