Kauai homes and condo sales prices up in January 2016

The real estate market on Kauai continues to show a gradual increase in prices for homes, condos and raw land. Inventory for SFHs and condos are both down slightly compared to the same month last year but we saw a big increase in new condo listing in January 2016 compared to the same month last year.

 

For those following the Kauai real estate market it is important to note that the total market is smaller than most and statistics can vary widely due to a single unusually low or high sale. The yearly trend is a safer reference than the month-to-month comparisons. Our yearly trend is currently reflecting a gradual upward climb in prices, with some decline in inventory.
