What do you love about your neighborhood?

Forest Lake has a small town feel with easy proximity to the Twin Cities. There are hiking paths nearby. A beautiful and peaceful lake. The area is not overpopulated. It has a nice library and soon there will also be a YMCA.

The neighborhood is also full of friendly and neighborly people. Who watch out for one another and our homes and valuables. A great way to get to know the neighbors is through the Association Meetings and Gatherings.

What drew you to this home?

We enjoy our 4 season porch year round. The skylight that brings in natural light. The master bedroom and large walk in closet. There is a separate bathroom for each bedroom, which is huge help in the mornings! We love the spacious family room. And of course the private yard with all the mature trees.

What do you love about the area?

We love that we are on a cul-de-sa. There are a lot of walking and biking options nearby. They connect all the neighborhoods. Our home is also just a quick walk down to the available association dock!

Great things about the schools?

All schools are within a 2 mile within a 2 mile radius - great for after school activities and transporting children to and from events and school!

What hobbies and interests near to home?

Fishing off the association dock is great! We love watching the birds from our 4 season porch. The yard is great for gardening and landscaping and a joy to keep green and nice throughout the summer.
