Alberto
Thanks for stopping by and taking time out of your day to read my post. My intent is to put a smile on your face. Hopefully you’ll go away with some information you may have forgotten about or did not know. Now sit back and enjoy.
Alberto was born in San Antonio to Pablo and Maria. His father was a migrant worker with a second grade education. His family of 10 lived in a small two-bedroom home which was built by his father and uncles. He had no hot running water and no telephone. He graduated with honors at MacArthur High School in Harris County Texas.
After graduation he enlisted in the United States Air Force, while in the service he received an appointment to the United States Air Force Academy. He made the Dean’s List every semester and served as President of the Freshman Class Council. He went on to attend Rice University and earned a bachelor’s degree with honors in political science. He also earned a Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from Harvard Law School.
BTW you may know him better as Alberto Gonzales he is the first highest-ranking Hispanic-American in the Executive Branch of the government to date. He was the 80th United States Attorney General appointed in February 2005 by then President George W. Bush. He has also served as an Associate Justice of the Texas Supreme Court, and Secretary of State of Texas. He currently is the Dean of Belmont University College of Law in Nashville, Tennessee.
