While You Sleep - Our Proven Team Will Do The Work!
So you like your sleep, do ya?
Do you feel like you have worked yourself to the bone by bedtime only to think of everything that didn't get done during the day?
How do you manage your time? What do you do all day? Why is there no time left at the end of the day?
Well, I can tell you right here, it's because you work too hard. You take on too many tasks and by the time the day is over you have left many of those tasks unfinished only to go on to the to-do list for the next day.
So what's the answer?
There are many answers depending on how you manage, but one answer in particular is a great fit for all.
The first thing you need to do is to rememeber you are but one person. So time managment and being realistic should be the first thing on your list. I don't expect to have waffles AND pancakes in the morning because I don't have that kind of time. So, I choose which one I want, and the other one I will have tomorrow.
Delegation. You have people around you who may be able to lend a hand every now and then to get you out the door in time to see your daughter's recital or watch your dog play in the yard. I'm all for delegation...In fact, I give my boys so many jobs to do around the house and the yard, they go to be wondering what they have done all day! (okay, JK) But on the serious side, when I am too busy to finish up a task for a client, I call on my assistants to step in and back me up.
Finally, the one-size fits all solution....Virtual Assistance. Now I am not one who usually writes about my services on our ActiveRain blog, but I met with a potential client this morning and she had an ephiphany and I just thought I would share her wisdom with you all and give you something to think about other than what you haven't gotten done.
This potential client and I met (I don't usually do this, but she was back against the wall) and we began to review what tasks she may need done by a REVA. I asked her about the tasks that were right in front of her and were not getting done. She looked at me for a moment and began to laugh. Well, it's not really a funny question, but as many of you can probably relate to from one time or another, it was everything!!!
Her desk is piled, there are files needing to be closed out and filed. The leads in the database have not been attended to. Her listings haven't been updated online. It is just everything.
So we spoke for sometime about things she can do immediately and how we can overcome most of her issues with a little work from us both. She keeps a lot close to her and is not good at delegating, so we will have some fun with this one, but she's sharp. In 2014, she did 23 sides. In 2015 with a bit of help from her mom, she doubled her sales to more than 50! I suspect that number will only increase with a little more help from us!
...And the moral of the story is, we all need a little help. Our staff is trained to stay on top and get your tasks managed so you can sleep at night. Heck, go on and have a nice dream too.
