5 Things You Can Do Right Now to Create an Amazing Digital Experience

On February 16th, 2016. ActiveRain University conducted  another real estate education webinar entitled, What You Can Do Right Now to Create an Amazing Digital Experience.  In the said webinar, our very own Community Evangelist, Bob Stewart, brought on BoomTown's Success Manager, Chris Dorsey, and Digital Success Strategist, Angela Tice to pick their brain on what you can do right now to improve or create an amazing digital experience for you and your real estate business.

Chris and Angela began their discussion on the action plan with the importance of local business citations or essentially mentions of your company's name, phone number and address on any web page other than your own. Before the Internet flourished, consumers were limited to the Yellow Pages in terms of finding local businesses, now there are a multitude of online directories that allows you to create those business listings. Whether it's Yelp, Zillow, Realtor.com or Google+, it is vital that your business information is visible and accurate in these pages regardless of how you feel with their company affiliations.

The Trio, then continued on with step two which was to ask for reviews, and how having a healthy amount of positive reviews in diverse pages can go a long way in validating your brand. The third step, is something that all real estate bloggers should know by heart by now and that is to continue adding and refreshing your content. Again, CONTENT IS KING! The more authentic and relevant your content is the better you perform in online searches.

The fourth step, is pretty straightforward, focus on paid advertising, As much as we cringe at the concept of anything that asks us to shell out our hard earned money. However, as the trio goes on to discuss, the reality is, if you want to position yourself in front of the right people and want to have results in the near future then this is your best bet in driving large amount of traffic to generate more leads. Finally, the last step is to have a social media plan for multiple channels in order for you to build a relationship with people, particularly those who are looking to purchase homes. Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Pinterest, Instagram, Google+ are all excellent places to generate leads.

Overall, the webinar was just packed with nuggets of knowledge, some that are eye-opening and some  that we just constantly need to be reminded of. I listened to your tutorial. 

It is essential that agents use the real physical address and just a unique suite number so that it can be their own address if they are an individual agent. It definitely works and you can rank for it as an address. Think about it.. if you are in Manhattan there are a ton of people with the same address but just a different suite number.

Good info and thanks for always posting the recordings. I agree, I'm always amazed how hard I have to search for e-mail and postal addresses for service businesses and online reviews are literally one of my best pipelines. We have to ask each closed escrow for them.
