It seems that EVERYTHING is going social.  Social Media, that is.  I recently read a post that encouraged businesses to advertise appropriate to the year in which they are doing business. The methods used in 2002 or 2012 for that matter, may no longer be effective.  

I have always believed that you have to meet people where they are and if my target market is on social media - then I just have to get over the insecurities I feel about putting myself out there in the thick of it.  I was pleasantly surprised to find that my concerns over whether I said "um.." too many times, or the way my voice sounds when I hear it back, or even the way I look simply faded to the back.  In this age of 'keeping it real', the real me is a little goofy, laughs at my own jokes and takes the job, but rarely myself, too seriously.  There are people who buy and sell homes who appreciate that type of personality in a  professional, and those are the people with whom I seek to do business.  

So whether it's Blogging, FaceBook, Twitter, Instagram, SnapChat, Periscope, or any other social media, I look forward to meeting you in the arena.  Let's get social and talk real estate.

I was at U of M just 1 year as a freshmen. It was way too large of a school for someone who graduate from a small school of  6 graduates. Total 66 counting 1st grade.
