The home is located in the Willow-Glen Homeowner Association, essentially a neighborhood pool and cabana club in the Parkview subdivision near Parkview Elementary School and park, a charming neighborhood with a nice park cutting through the neighborhood.  While some owners may not like that fact that all homeowners in the neighborhood have to pay dues, it is a terrific benefit for those with kids or like to swim.   The pool is located at 265 Bluefield Drive, San Jose, and the woman who manages the HOA is very helpful and prompt in getting all the HOA papers to th enew buyers... a requirement for the sale of homes in this area.  Willow-Glen HOA 95136 This particular tract is bordered by Vistapark Dr., Capital Expressway, Snell Rd., and Branham Avenue.  


Serving Silicon Valley since 1987, I have sold a few homes in my career in the Willow-Glen HOA area, more often know as the Parkview neighborhood, and found it to be a stable, safe, middle class area with some owners that have lived there many years mixed with the new generation of homeowners and families.  I consider it a "good value" neighborhood with apositive lifestyle, decent schools, close to everything and pleanty of modern day conveniences. Most of the homes in the area were built in the early 1970's and many are being updated as the new buyers and investors enhance the homes.  You will typically see anywhere from two to five bedrooms in this area with two car garages and lots averaging approximately 5000-6000sf with some bigger and some smaller.  There are much larger lots on the west side of Vistapark and often a little older homes.  There are very few condos in this area though new apartments and condos haved spouted along Capitol Expressway in the past decade or so.

The Willow-Glen HOA is near many interesting sites and activities, including the new Cottle Mansion Park on Branham Avenue, the large farm land that will eventually become a fully developed park.  Oakridge Mall, a Westfield Mall, is on the other side of the 85 Freeway, and Blossom Hill Road is home to many Oakridge Mall in Blossom Valleystores, super markets, eateries and more.    It is conveniently located near all major freeways, including Freeways 85, 87, 101, and 280.
