New Construction Subdivision: Stone Creek
I'm a REALTOR® who lives and works in Timber Ridge, a subdivision in Gluckstadt, MS that is located right beside the newest new construction development in our area. I've been driving past this and had to go check it out for myself. I recently spoke with Alex Ross, one of the builders/developers and had the chance to ask questions about the project and tour one of the beautiful homes. I was very impressed! Stone Creek will have fifty homes with well-shaded lots having sizes of approximately .25 acres. The majority of the homes will be 4/3 split plans ranging from 2,100-2,900 sq ft. with 3 car garages. The price per sq ft. is approximately $140. This is right on target for the area for homes of similar size and quality.
Where is Stone Creek located?
Stone Creek is located on Church Rd. in Gluckstadt, MS just off of I-55 near the Nissan plant. It is just behind Germantown High School. Nearby neighborhoods are; Wellington, Timber Ridge, Gray Hawk and Germantown. Other nearby points of interests are; Baptist Health Systems, Renaissance Mall, Germantown Middle School, downtown Jackson (8 mi.), and Medgar Evers International Airport is just a 20 min. drive .
What to expect when I'm looking-
As you enter the neighborhood, Stone Creek will have a water retention pond that will be lit and beautifully landscaped with floating fountains on each side of the entrance. There is a gazebo in the middle as you enter as well. The HOA will provide a clubhouse and pool for homeowners to enjoy. The homes will feature open floor plans with plenty of room for entertaining. Off of the foyer you may find a study with a full bath and walk-in closet. In the master bath there are his and her separate closets. On the guest side of the home you may find a Jack-and-Jill bath bedroom plan with a landing area in the hallway where you may see a built in office area. There are lockers in the back entrance and pantries in the kitchens. The finishes were that of which one would expect to see in a custom built home. I was very impressed on the details and use of space.
