MESA COUNTY COLORADO REAL ESTATE MARKET UPDATE DECEMBER 2015
December sales just barely undercut November’s at a total volume of $82,198,645, a 22.45% increase over the sales from December of 2014! Total sales year to date of $962,634,679, as calculated December to December, which also reflects entire 2015 volume, show a 22.38% increase in 2015. The average residential sales price in December 2015 was $222,324 and the December median price was $190,000. The year to date median price dropped $50 to $194,000. See below for more details.
December sales show that 28% of purchases were cash which indicates a heavy investor market. Below is total sales volume comparison for 2014 versus 2015:
