The 2016 Thomasville Buffalo Soldiers Heritage Festival will feature collections of items from not only Buffalo Soldiers, but the Tuskegee Airmen as well, courtesy of Artist Bob Snead and US Army Colonel (Ret) Nathan Thomas.  The area's 9th & 10th Horse Calvary and Buffalo Soldiers Motorcycle Clubs along with the 2nd Infantry Regiment of US Colored Troops will all be on-site.  Historian Tom Phillips from Raymond, MS will also be available to answer any questions and offer stories about the Buffalo Soldiers.

The public is invited to attend the 2016 Thomasville Buffalo Soldiers Heritage Festival.  Free hot dogs and drinks will be handed out to guests.  You will also be allowed to take a free, self-guided tour of the museum.  Donations are always accepted but not required.

What do you know about the Buffalo Soldiers?  You should attend the festival this weekend to find out more about what these amazing men did.
