Sagewood is a popular neighborhood on the northeast side of Colorado Springs. It lies to the Southwest of Powers Blvd. and Briargate parkway.
The neighborhood is close to two large existing parks, Explorer Park and John L. Stone Park which features a skateboard park.
The 110 acre John Venezia Community Park is being developed right across Union Boulevard and Briargate Parkway. Approximately thirty acres will be developed, with 80 acres left undeveloped as an open space to protect the endangered and threatened Preble’s Meadow Jumping Mouse habitat.
The new park will have picnic pavilions, a spray ground, fruit orchards, and multi-use sport fields, tennis courts, basketball/inline hockey court, pickle ball courts, and a playground. Venezia Park will have Colorado Springs second Universally Accessible Playground.
The houses in Sagewood were built between the late 90’s to the mid 2000’s.
Sagewood students are zoned to the highly acclaimed district 20 schools.
This neighborhood had 21 single family sales in 2015.
Sold prices ranged from $182,000 up to $279,857.
The median sales price was $282,000.
Median price per square foot was $106.
Median days on market were = 38 days.
Median square footage was 2,616.
