Yosemite Firefall on Horsetail Falls One of the best parts of living in Lake Tahoe is that it is relatively close to many other world class photographic locations. I just returned from two wonderful, and very long days in Yosemite National Park. During the last two weeks of February there is a natural lighting occurance that, if all conditions come together, makes Horsetail Falls appear to be on fire. I was fortunate to have quite good conditions on this trip, and here is the result. I hope you enjoy the image. Yup, I put that kind of commitment in, too with almost all photo excursions. That's why I find it best to go alone, Jon, so that I don't bore others and they don't hold me back from stopping copious amounts of times during the trip!
