many streets.
Firefighters had to knock down a transformer fire in Greenburgh near the intersection of Everts Avenue and Payne Road. The Bronx River Parkway was shut down for hours in Pleasantville because of the flooded roadway

Really cold nights ahead, but the "sun should come up tomorrow, tomorrow," and we'll return to normal, human, reasonable temps this weekend. FYI: We are in a Tuesday and Wednesday rain pattern this month, through early March. So, just have an umbrella handy.
