We woke up to a beautiful sunny day.  The Santa Barbara Farmers market was full of vibrant colors.  This mound of carrots greeted us as we walked in.

Here is what "beet red" looks like!

Kathy Streib we still have those who support the fast food places, the frozen and the GMO produce.  In time, they may come around.  A

Good morning, Alexandra and Ron -- my morning juice was a combination of spinach, beets and carrots ---- I'm sure Dick Greenberg is feeling a bit envious or as he might describe -- nauseous.

Michael Jacobs good for you, and I applaud you.  Of the three items in your juice the only one I would use is spinach...I love the colors of the other two but not the taste.  I am sure that Dick Greenberg would find your practice nauseating.  Have a great open house.  A

Alexandra-I love both of those veggies. Never had them in juice though. My birdies would have a feast with the sunflowers. Happy Saturday.

Hi Ron & Alexandra - I'd actually eat the veggies in your lovely photos, but Michael's breakfast is indeed gag-inducing. My brunch this morning was Mandarin pork buns, wagyu sliders, zeppole and bloody marys :)

Dick Greenberg sounds like dim sum type breakfast, and wish we were there for that feast.  Unlike you and Michael Jacobs the idea of eating either a beet or a cooked carrot is gag-inducing.  We all are blessedly different which keep us all interesting...LOL A
