New home buying (new contruction)

By
Home Builder with Complete Design

I suppose to the untrained eye, new home buying (new construction) is a .....scary thought. I look at open heart surgery the same way. But my neighbor can do it in his sleep :). It doesn't have to be scary. Some builders don't want you knowing how its done, they think you will try to do it yourself. Nothing could be further from the fact. No more than if my neighbor told me how to do surgery, i couldn't do it. When you have done as many jobs as we have you get the feel for situations. We get surprised every once in awhile. But not often. We offer a turnkey product where we take the risk. If something unexpected comes up, we take the risk. Not you. Few builders are willing to do this. Just one more reason to go with us . :)

Hello Mike, if I was buying a new home today, I'd crystal-ball my thinking and plan for my future needs. Choosing options for tomorrow is one perk of buying new. These forward-thinking selection can mean years of enjoyment as your family changes. That's the beauty of buying new construction. Yes,it's more expensive BUT I think it's wort it. I'd do it.Always smart to keep in touch with your builder. Know what you want, spell your wants, needs,be specific and get what you want. That's VERY important.

Mike

That's a beautiful home. At this point in my life I have no desire to have a new home built, but if I did it would sure be by someone who really knows what they are doing, and has a great reputation

I've always enjoyed selling new homes. That opportunity ebs & flows in my career. Any suggestions on how to target new home buyers Mike Rock ?

Thomas J. Nelson, Realtor  well, there were historically 12-15% of the buying public wanting "new'  we see that % dropping a bit.Thsi previously stong % wouldnt stray. we see that more like 5 to 8%. we arent sure why. there is a huge gap of age of homes as the new construction (non tract) has not really happened in the last 7 years. We thought the % of folks wanting new would rise. One thing we do you , you have to stress NEW and not a resale. good luck and any questions just holler.

In our market our windows are usually white or oak, not black. It is a very nice look!
