Mid-Winter Vacation in Aruba good for the Soul (and Productivity)!
My wife and I just got back from spending a nice, full week in Aruba and I feel great!
There's nothing quite like a mid-winter vacation in Aruba to get your body recharged. It's good for the soul... and productivity!
I typically work 7 days a week and I don't see a break for days and sometimes weeks at a time. Having a little down time in the sun really re-energized me. It makes winter feel a lot shorter and, now that I'm back from vacation, I'm ready to go full speed ahead again!
Aruba was absolutely incredible! I'm glad we picked this island to visit. We stayed near Palm Beach and rented a car. This allowed us the convenience of going to the popular Palm beach area and also more secluded beaches like Arashi Beach and Baby Beach.
It was 85 degrees everyday, the ocean water was clear and warm, and there are huts and trees to give you shade while sitting out on the beach.
We had a few adventurous days in between the relaxing ones. We spent time on a speed boat, raced our jet ski's around the waters of Eagle Beach, and took a Jeep one day to do some off-roading and visit the caves and natural pools.
I think I could have easily spent another few weeks in Aruba, but it was time to come home.
We'll be back for sure!
