The historic Venetian Causeway reopens.
Originally built in the 1930,s the Venetian Causeways connects downtown Miami to the residential Ventian islands and then continues on to Miami Beach. Closed for renovations it just reopened to the public on Monday.
This causeway was the second "bridge" built to Miami Beach. To the right of the causeway you will notice a raised highway. This is the MacArthur Causeway which wisks you in and out of South Beach.
