How To Select A Beige Countertop That Will Make Your Kitchen Shimmer!

Beige can sometimes be a boring, blah color. However, the good news is the options for beige selection is now changing.

Here Are A Few Tips To Help You Select A Beige Countertop That Will Make Your Kitchen Shimmer!

1. Carefully consider your design theme -  in order to achieve a cohesive kitchen that stands out.

2. Stay open to other shades not only beige - consider looking at other shades. Why does this make sense?

If your color preference is a beige countertop, there could be a shade of white, brown or yellow with beige highlights that may fit in perfectly well  in your kitchen design.

3. Contrast maybe required - to achieve contrast, it's best to take a sample of your kitchen cabinet, flooring, paint sample, crown molding and backsplash with you to your kitchen countertop supply store. You can always try to do everything on your own, but remember it's always cheaper to get things done right the first time. Some home design stores, will do a FREE in home consultation, to save you the time and hassle. The bonus is they usually don't charge extra to ensure your kitchen is beautiful and contrast well.

4. Get a mock copy - ask your home designer to do a mock of your kitchen with all your finishes. This way, you can get a visual presentation as to what the end product will look like.

5. Decide if you want a kitchen island or breakfast bar upfront -  it's almost always cheaper to get it done with your original install than trying to add or redo later.

Before you comment that all these shades aren't really beige...... Have you visited your local home improvement store paint aisle lately?

Try looking at the Benjamin Moore White Satin!

Hint: It looks more like blue to me.

From this list our favorite beige is the Cristal Cream Countertop. I love the shimmering background that's engraved in the beige countertop surface. It's kind of like adding a bit of jewelery to your countertop.
