The health department should check out the room I stayed in on March 2, 2016 ie room 115.
The carpet was dirty, there was a bug stuck in the popcorn ceiling above the dresser. There was also a small hole, close to an inch in diameter closer to the door coming from who knows where being able to see who knows what. One of the drapes was partially off the rod and the other allowed one walking by to see into the room at the mirror and thus see a reflection of the bed. I had to pull the drape over the doorknob so no one could see in. The bathtub had black filth from the drain to about a foot back and the non-slip strips had been removed and I slipped and if it wasn't for the grab rail I would have fallen and hurt myself. The shower drape was dirty. There were cracks in the tile and baseboard.
The front desk told me they were new ownership and redoing the rooms. However, they obviously gave me a room that had not been repaired or updated. Interestingly, the front desk did not ask me how my stay was - no doubt because she knew there was nothing good to say.
I decided to tell her about my stay on this forum. If you go there ask to see the room first before checking in!!!!! Maybe you will get a nice one....I got the worst room I have ever been in my life! Was told on arrival, 9:30pm, they were booked up so I was pleased at first to have made reservations ahead of time - I was too tired and it was too late to go hunting for another place if you are wondering why I stayed...
