These are not real estate related - they're life related. I found this list in a pile of papers in a drawer, and its only identifier was that it was from a Quaker newsletter. It spoke to me, and daily I want to endeavor to be this person.

Every day take a thirty-minute walk

Be kind to unkind people
Let someone cut ahead of you in line
Take time to be alone
Cultivate good manners
Be humble
Realize and accept that life isn't fair
Know when to keep your mouth shut
Go an entire day without criticizing anyone
Learn from the past
Plan for the future
Live in the present
Don't sweat the small stuff
It's all small stuff

Hi Mimi-such a great list, I have a similar one that I review often to make sure I am on point! I think the most difficult item for me is living in the present.

While I am definitely "here" I am constantly thinking about "tomorrow" and beyond.

Interestingly enough, Marco Giancola, I wrote the words "Don't Squander Your Life" on my calendar so I see it daily. It's so easy to get caught up in the 'busyness' and forget to live. 


Tomorrow is important, but we forget it's not nearly as important as today because we have no assurance we're gonna have tomorrow.
