Cary’s Compost Giveaway Workshops start today and continue through Saturday, March 12, 2016.

Each registered participant will receive three bags of compost and a home composing/gardening guidebook. Check the calendar for more information about class times and registration.

Love theater? Two local high schools will present musicals this weekend, and Thursday is opening night for both of them. Cary High School will present Grease, and Green Hope will present Chicago.

Both shows start at 7 pm and continue until Saturday.

At the same time, VocalMotion, the showchoir at SAS Institute, will perform a free performance entitled Light Up the World at Cary Academy. Audience members are just asked for a donation, and VocalMotion donates 100% of the proceeds to a charity. Shows continue on Friday, Saturday and Sunday, so check the calendar for more details.
