Spring in the Evening...

By
Real Estate Broker/Owner with Lola Audu~Audu Real Estate~Grand Rapids, MI Real Estate

It was one of those absolutely gorgeous Spring days here in Grand Rapids, Michigan.  The Magnolia tree is blossoming in full splendor!  The flowering Crab tree is pushing out it's first blossoms too. But there's something else happening...(This picture was taken a couple of days ago)  Now, this tree has started to shed those large, luscious flower buds onto the grass.  It's barely perceptible if you're just looking at the tree, but if you're up close & personal...you can see that the buds will only be here a little longer.

Spring in the Evening...

This is a floral pictorial for what we are seeing in the Grand Rapids, Michigan real estate market.  Spring is definitely in the air.  Buyers are contacting us to see homes and bid on them.  Home owners are making the necessary adjustments and repairs to place their homes on the market.

But there's something else happening that only busy real estate professionals showing and selling homes can clearly see.  Homes which are priced properly are being Sold...Quickly!  We're hearing the words...I'm sorry, it's already gone more and more these days.  Our buyers are bidding on homes only to find that there are multiple offers.

If you're a home owner, don't wait for the news media to finally get a whiff of this good news and begin to report it.  Get a jump start and find out what's going on in your neighborhood.  Call Audu Real Estate for a FREE Certified Market Analysis.  Take a lesson from the Magnolia Tree...those blossoms will be gone very soon & the tree will be covered with verdant green leaves.  Pretty, but not the rare beauty of the delicate pink blossom.

Your writing is poetry. The descriptions are lyrical. The energy is connected. What is better than spring? As I read your post, I could only think.... I want to smell the blooms and feel the crisp breezes...Oh I miss Michigan!

Lola, what a gorgeous photo!  The magnolia blossoms seem almost phosphorescent.  Right now we're having a thunderstorm in Lancaster County, PA, and the cherry blossoms, which have been magnificent this year, will probably be on the ground tomorrow morning.

Jason, Thanks for stopping by.  The weather in Grand Rapids has been gorgeous for the past couple of days.  Today, it turned colder.  The Magnolia is one of my favorite trees.  It makes the arrival of Spring so beautiful.

Sharon, That is so good to hear.  All we hear over here about the real estate market in Florida is that it's really bad.  I'm glad to hear that you are experiencing an upswing.  Our prices are still down, but well priced inventory is moving.  Is that the same with you?

Hi Jeff, Thanks for stopping by.  I took this picture originally during the day and it was beautiful.  Then, I thought about what it might look like against an evening backdrop and used Picasa to edit.

What a beautiful picture Lola. Isn't it great having 4 seasons here in MI. Glad to hear things are picking up on that side of the state, I'm noticing that also, if they are priced right, they will sell quick, 2 of my listings sold last month, both in less than 35 days, one with multiple offers.

Its cold again here today, but I am loving all the budding trees and tulips, they just don't last long enough.  What you said is so true, one of my team mates was setting up appointments the other day and he kept running into the homes having accepted offers on them.  Now, these were those low priced repo homes, but still, it was nice to hear those words.  It used to be that 3 out of 5 homes we'd want to set up showings for would have offers already, it would be wonderful to see happening again!  Once we get rid of all these repos, it will be the normal sellers turn.

Lola- That is the case here too, if priced right it is going.  The buyers are out in full force and it is like a buffet so many properties to choose from.
