Pleasant Surprise at Bonners Mall Theaters this week
A bit restless when heading home from Sandpoint the other night I decided to stop at the Bonners Mall Cinema's and see 'London Has Fallen'. The movie was OK to watch but the best reason I can come up with to justify this evaluation is that I enjoyed the characters and really enjoy the work of Mr. Gerald Butler although this is really stretching it. I would wait for DVD, with this movie, if watching it at all.
My surprise came in getting in just as the lights went out. There were people scattered about and I did not want to be tripping over them. So I sat on the level floor area. I did not realize what I had been missing by sitting further back. These were nice comfortable recliners. Nicely ribbed to fold back into.
Even better when the lights came back on I realized all the seats were this same fashion. I asked the girl at the front counter if just in this one theater or were all the theaters being redone with new chairs. 3 1/2 of the 6 theaters have been completed and they will continue till all 6 are complete hopefully before summer.
Now Hannah Williams, while these may not be as plush, nor am I able to have an alcholoic beveridge, while enjoying the movie, I am quite pleased to see the only theater in town spending the money to improve one's movie going experience.
I am definitely already looking forward to the next movie I see there. And I am guessing it will be sooner than later just because of this Pleasant Surprise at Bonners Mall Theaters this week.
