If you are in Princeville today, Sunday, there is a “Second Sunday Princeville Night Market” from 4 to 8 PM. On Maui they have similar events around the Island on Fridays. Depending on what Friday it is, you can go to one of five different towns for a party.

It’s nice to see this type of event taking hold on Kauai. The first Saturday of each month you can enjoy “First Saturday of the Month Art Walk” in Kapaa. “Kilauea Art Night” is a monthly affair held the last Saturday of the month between 4PM – 8PM. There’s also the Art Night in Hanapepe which is a weekly affair as well as various other events throughout the Island.

This is the first time I’ve seen this event in Princeville. Do your part to ensure it continues by attending! “Princeville Night Market” this Sunday 4 to 8PM. Local art, live music and food.

New Listings:

Kaiulani 62 sold from the developer in 5/08 for $989,390 and is listed for the first time since that sale priced at $888K. Villas of Kamalii 10 is now listed for $749K since selling for $512,925 in 6/03.

Back on the Market:

Plantation 912 fell out of escrow after going in on 2/29 and is once again available priced at $529K. The seller bought the unit for $599K in 10/05.


Villas on the Prince 31 took 263 days to find a buyer while priced at $679K. The last sale was for $945K in 4/07.

Under Contract:

Alii Kai 7104, priced at $469K, went quickly into escrow and is now under contract. We can expect to see it closing soon.

Price Changes:

Kaiulani 73 went from $835K to $815K. The last sale was a for $863,540 from the developer in 4/07.

Hanalei Bay Resort 1513/14 made a minor price reduction of $6K down to $440K. It sold for $379K in 10/13.

Pali Ke Kua 237 was purchased for $750K in 2/05, and reduced $18K to $725K.

3814 Makani Kai Place is newly listed for $649K since selling for $750K in 7/07.

3784 Milimakani Place is back on the market again still priced at $679K. It was on the market for 2 days last week, taken off the market and is now re-listed with a different agent in the same company. The prior sale was for $780K in 4/06.

3886 Kaweonui is newly listed for $695K. The last sale was for land in 7/88 for $65K. The home was built in 89.


4391 Emmalani, with a price of $1.099M, was withdrawn after 187 market days. The last sale was for land in 6/88 for $95K.

Price Changes:

4020 Aloalii made several token reductions of $1000 each to keep the property on the update page. It went from $1.349M to $1.346M in three $1K increments. The seller bought this home for $1.250M in 12/13.

4944 Emmalani was priced at $849K but is now $835K. They purchased the home in 8/99 for $315K.

4939 Emmalani reduced from $999K to $940K after only 29 market days. The previous sale was for $278K in 3/97.

4133 Rooke Place is now $1.250M down from $1.290M. The last sale was for $323K in 6/03 for land. The house was built in 04.
