Why Buy New Construction Homes?

More and more I am having the conversation with Buyers about "Why Buy New Construction Homes"?

In today's market there is low inventory.

This means it is harder for the buyer to find the home with the right location, fit and finish and price.

Existing home prices have risen and are much closer to New Construction prices.

When we understand those two givens we can then look at some Good Reasons why New Construction is Better:

1. You can have peace of mind with all new materials and

     appliances.

2. You can have a higher quality home.

3. You can build to suit your needs.

4. You can choose where your home will be built.

5. You will get to live somewhere you like.

6. You control the design from the beginning.

7. You can make changes during construction.

8. You will enjoy a home that fits your personal style and life

9. You can have a home in your perfect location that is the

     best match for your needs.

10. You will have a quality home to enjoy, located in an area

that meets your needs at the price you choose.

Larry Johnston I know many areas of the country are experiencing low inventory and new construction can be a great answer.

Thanks for the comments and also for the re-post

There are still not many spec homes in my market.  We're begining to see some, but it is no where near what it was when the crash happened.

Tammy Lankford here in Florida there are not many spec homes. The new construction is with builders taking orders. Many of them are custom builders.

With the lower current level of resales home sale . . . . buying a new home becomes a smart choice.

Good luck and success.

Lou Ludwig thanks for commenting. I agree with you that in the current market it can be a wise choice to buy new construction.

Good points John...the best time to "make it your own" is when it is being built !

Sally K. & David L. Hanson you are so right. Instead of trying to "make" an existing home work, start with what you want and need.

Thanks for the comment.
